I got GrandTec Ultimate XP Pro PC To TV Converter to use with a computer and a tv so that I could watch streaming movies from Netflix. The setup was quick and easy. I noticed that the included cables were not of high quality. When I used the included cables there were subtle wavy lines across the picture. It did not bother me but it bothered other people. When I used my own cables the lines went away. I would recommend the product, but if you have issues with the quality try another cable.

I got the unit to use with the overhead projector. The first time I turned it on, the picture was blurry, and the unit does not have any controls to adjust it. I tested the unit with the TV - same results. I called the support, and they told me that GrandTec Ultimate XP Pro PC To TV Converter is normal to have a blurred picture (!) when converting from the PC to Video. Maybe GrandTec Ultimate XP Pro To TV Converter is normal for them, but my eyes hurt to watch the blurred pictures for even a few minutes. Since the website is advertising it as ''video converter based on frame buffer architecture that delivers sharp and stable image output on TVs'', I find that the quality of the unit does not match the advertisement.

GrandTec Ultimate XP Pro To TV Converter product is by a fairly wide margin the best value on the market for someone who needs to convert their VGA port signal on their computer to Composite Video or S-Video for simple presentations (like PowerPoint or website demonstrations). The product is a few years old, but is far cheaper than other converters, which tout image quality that you'll never care about or use. It hasn't failed me yet, and is very easy to set up quickly. As an added bonus, the device is very Macintosh friendly, and works great on my iBook. If the image appears blurry, just lower your screen resolution and the image becomes sharper. 800 x 600 works best for me. Great product for the price.

Does everything it is supposed to do with easy setup. Addressing the blurriness issue, your picturewill only be blurry if you are trying to display a high definition resolution on a monitor or projector that is standard definition. If you have the issue with a blurry picture, lower your resolution to 640X480 and you will be fine. If you resolution is over that, it's high definition!

This converter couldn't have worked any better. Using it to watch sons hockey games that are on line. Didn't want to sit around a small monitor. Ran longer cable I purchased extra, into a Sony 57'' t.v. across the room, and there GrandTec Ultimate XP Pro PC To TV Converter was. Picture is very good. Didn't need to make any adjustments. You can read the numbers, names and all the logos on the ice. Sit back with the popcorn and favorite beverage, and watch my son a couple thousand miles away. This is by far the best deal. If you think you need to pay a couple hundred $$$ thinking you'll get what you pay for, your mistaken. This is all you need. It's great when things are what they're advertised to be once in awhile.
