I just recieved Gateway GT5636E Refurbished Desktop computer and WOW! I had an AMD XP2100 processor in my last computer - Holy crap is Gateway GT5636E thing faster! I had to update Vista to sp1 so that it would recognize the extra 2 gig of ram that I added because before that it only saw 3.3 gig. I like the speakers cause they're usb powered - no more ac adapters. It also has the 6 pin plug needed for some graphics cards.

I got this system for my wife last week to replace her P4 machine. Gateway GT5636E Refurbished Desktop is very fast and well worth the money. I built a system similar to this for myself for video editing around a year ago and spent $1,000 for virtually the same thing.

I recieved this product along with an additional 49.00 1-yr warranty and after just 3 weeks of little use I have ran into a software issue, repeataly tells me windows explorer is not working, have tryed everything I know of ( I am a novice at best) I called about my warranty and was told for 120.00 my issue could be fixed online, warranty does not cover software related problems, so Gateway GT5636E Refurbished Desktop is off to local computer shop for an additional charge, would not buy again!

I got my pc today and i added an extra 2gb of ram, to get 4gb, this pc smokes the emachines w3609 that i uses to have, i would reccommend this pc to anyone who wants to upgrade from a single core pc, you dont realize how much faster a quad core pc is compared to a single core
