For the price range and depending on what the ultimate use or purpose Gateway DX4710-07 Desktop computer is for: totally unparalleled! I run ProTools 7.4 (Version 8 just landed), and Cubase. I run everything at full throttle. What does Gateway DX4710-07 mean? As a test, I used all the virtual instruments at the same time time leaving all the plug ins open all at once and the performace meter merely indicated a 20% cpu usage. I tried to crash the computer by running as much virtual instruments, plug ins and tracks as i possibly can until i ran out of stuff to give the computer to do. It basically laughed at my efforts and continued working. I didn't get hot and crash. Then I left it on for 5 days straight and it still worked.Luji
