I purchased a Nuvi 200w and LOVE IT!!!It has all the standard features that you would expect from a GPS unit and it does a real good job.I also use it for GEOCACHING.com.I got Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS Navigation unit just for that feature. I can load all my points of interest and Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS Navigation will take me there. Along with the Hidden feature of the satalite view that will give me the coordinates of my position to help me find the prize.I am giving the Garmen Nuvi 200W 5 stars across the board.

Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS Navigation is a great GPS for the money. Easy to use, I'm still learning all the features, but got more than I expected for the price.

Poor instructions (comes with a quick start manual with limited info but a more detailed manual is nowhere to be found).A special USB cable (not provided)is necessary to connect the GPS to your PC. Website confusing and Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS Navigation is difficult to determine just what updates and maps should be downloaded.The free updated map download is over 2GB in size and may take over 2 hours with a typical broadband internet connection. You have a limited amount of time to download. Future updates, should you choose to receive them, apparently cost $100After the 2 hour map download it may take 5 minutes or so to extract the file. When the actual download started I got an error message that the GPS did not have a sufficient amount of storage space to accept the updated map (38 mb short). Finally determined (after searching the website info) that Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS Navigation is necessary to delete the language files that are not being used on the GPS to free up enough space to download the map. I bought this Nuvi 200W last month for my wife and it's ready to go right out of the box and I updated the Map for 2009, it took a while but I got it updated. This is the second Nuvi GPS product that I used, mine is Nuvi 350 with street specific guidance. The 200W will bring you from point A to point B but the only complaint I have or wishing and hoping that Nuvi will offer some kind of firmware update to make it speak street names (e.g. ''Turn right to Broadway or Exit on American Way) other than that were happy... oh I might have to give mine to my wife because of the street-by-street voice.

When it decides to aquire the statilte it works great, problem is it takes about 5 minutes or longer to do this most of the time for me. Be sure to research the model on the web, you will find other users that complain about this problem with this model, curouis that no one has complained about it on tiger.
