Bought Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI card to upgrade to a 22'' widescreen monitor. The instructions were possibly the worst written (read translated!)I have ever experienced. The software CD supposedly installed the drivers, but my XP based desktop would just freeze on reboot. The instructions don't even mention any XP installation.Finally got it to open up in safe mode, downloaded the drivers from nVidia, and reinstalled. That said, the card works very well at Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI point, and have had no more issues. I would recommend skipping the install CD, and going right to nVidia to download their most up to date drivers before trying to install the card. For the price, I think Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI is a pretty good card, IF you are savvy enough to get it installed.

I purchase the product from the tigerdirect and it's not working correctly. The driver comes with the product is an old one and it wont take any good resolution.

this card is a joke right out of the box! the instructions are choppy and typos all over the place! on top of that, if you blink, you will miss the xp instructions. no caption, nothing. you barely know Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI is for xp except for a section in the middle of a sentence that said xp. even then when you install the card, it loads bios and windows register screen and then it shuts down the monitor. i read in another post that somebody else had to go to the internet to get proper drivers to make it work. what is the driver disk for then? this is my second experience with diablotek and my second card also would not work out of the box, very poor company, i will not do it again! don't buy diablotek, poor quality and tech support.

This video card was very diffcult to install with Dell systems althought once I got it working properly it works pretty decent. I play Shadowbane and it broght my FPS from around 3 - 6 FPS to around 11 - 15 FPS. Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI is even maxed out to 30 FPS in areas with not much going on. I however would spend the extra $5 and get the Diablotek Geforce 5500 as it has dual 350 mhz ramdac and a fast core speed. if $5 is too much Id atleast go with the PNY Geforce fx5200. It also has dual ramdac lol. Crazy manufacturers. And Diablotek GeForce 5200 256MB PCI is the same price. I plan on getting a refund and going with the 5500.
