Works with Vista? I don't think so. I have yet to get the software to work. I've downloaded the latest updates. I've downloaded the standard ''Vista Installer''. Dazzle Video Creator Platinum product says right on the box that it ''works with Vista''. It doesn't. It tells you that you have to go online for Vista drivers, which would be fine if the drivers actually worked. Save yourself the headache and get something else.

Wow. I read the above reviews and bought it anyway. Big mistake. Doesn't work, period. Tried it on both a XP and a Vista machine. VERY frustrated.

Software installed just fine, recognized by Win XP Pro just fine, started recording using Instant DVD Recorder and my PC just locks up after 20-40 minutes of transfering from VCR to DVD. Pinnacle support is a joke. Their solutions just run you around in circles. I tried it on two other PC's, all meeting Pinnacle's specs and it won't run at all on one and worked for 1 DVD on the other and now reboots the PC when I start the software. 0 out of 3 working. Hopefully TigerDirect will let me exchange Dazzle Video Creator Platinum for something that actually works.

I love Tiger Direct but this product is junk. I wasted an entire afternoon trying to get it to work on my 3 mhz XP Media Edition machine with 2 GB RAM. It crashed on install, crashed on loading, crashed when updating, froze, wouldn't capture video. Dazzle Video Creator Platinum was a nightmare. My second mis-adventure with a Dazzle product. Never again for Pinnacle/Dazzle.

stay away from Pinnacle they are the worst company. They dont stand behind there product. the product is slow Dazzle Video Creator Platinum is junk
