ACECAD DigiMemo L2 - Letter Size Digital Notepad Reviews

It seems to do really well with the written word but when it comes to drawing and working as a tablet I believe the software is lacking. it now only does not go on the page a lot of them time it only seems to be able to be used as a tablet successfully in the drawing program that comes with it. I have not checked but maybe there is an updated driver for it.

I've had my DigiMemo for 1 month and use it more or less everyday. I am a High School Chemistry teacher and I love ACECAD DigiMemo L2 - Letter Size Digital Notepad product. I connect my DigiMemo to my computer (which connects to my projector) and write notes for students AND can save them to my computer. Notes can be printed, saved as images then e-mailed... it does exactly what I want it to do. I would like the option of converting the files to .pdf, but saving as .gif seems to be just as functional for me so far. It seemed too good to be true, but so far no worries!I've used it as a tablet on only a few occasions and it works fine although I find it can be difficult to reach the outer edge of the screen without the pen slipping off the paper. Changing to the plastic tip for ACECAD DigiMemo L2 - Letter Size Digital Notepad purpose would be best, but it's inefficient if you want to switch back and forth. Overall though, I'm very happy with this product. Our school is buying 3 more.

I bought this for my wife who is a case manager and needs to take notes for every contact with every client and every phone call. She does not type well and it used to take her hours to either dictate or type her notes each day. Now she simply uses this pad & then converts them to a Word doc. Dumps them to a USB stick and takes that to work the next morning, simple. The handwriting recognition program works well, but she has good handwriting, the spell check catches most of the rest. I suggest an SD card and reader in your computer because the USB port is hard to access with the ''pad'' in the much needed protective leather case. I also suggest 2300Mah NiMh batteries and a charger to cut down on the battery costs and a second pen because your dead in the water if you lose the one you have. All and all a good solution to a common problem.

Not bad for $130. The software is a little flaky and it would be nice if the software would also work with other non-proprietary scanned images.

Now here is a product that transforms how things get done! I have now been using this product for 3 weeks and ACECAD DigiMemo L2 - Letter Size Digital Notepad is awesome! I am a college student with 5 lecture courses. I take about 15 to 20 pages of notes per day! This digital tablet has proven to be instrumental in helping me to become better organized! PROS:+ Solid feeling construction, very durable.+ Ease of Use for software+ Excellent precision and records even the smallest notes+ Awesome battery life+ Convienient size, comfortable.CONS:- Software is simplistic and limited in usefulness.- Handwriting recognition software (30 day trial provided) is absolutely useless, could not recognize my handwriting with any accuracy. Also, software is completely useless for chemistry/math notes.
