picture quality is very very good , but sound (Mic)? not realy as good as my old one (different brand).you have to be close to Mic all the time .Not a big software needed and uses the windows's software , maybe that is the reason behind some problem with Xtatix Peeper 1.3 MP Webcam webcam.I have not been able to Capture my own picture for example ! and i did try everything.

The quality is very bad. I dont know why some people give 5 stars. The picture quality is very bad and the image display keep jamming. The warranty is already past so I have to waste Xtatix Peeper 1.3 MP Webcam money.

what a piece of CRAAPP!! I cant believe i wasted my money on this! It hasnt even been a month since ive had it. Its exactly what the other guys said.... quality sucks,it freezes up and good luck calling customer services cause either youre on hold until your ear falls off and finally you speak with someone who have no idea what youre talking about.

I got my peeper 12-20-07 used it 1 time ad it quit I have tryed to get another while under warrantee and ca not get a answer to emails or phone calls ect. I thought I would get to see my sister more that 1 time she lives accross the country from me and I miss her.I got both of us new computers just to comunicate back and forth this sucks!!!!!

You get more than you pay for with this webcam. I bought about 20 of them for our company. The resolution is great, if it freezes up thats your internet connection NOT the webcam (in response to another review). The mic is poor on it however. Also it comes with amazing face tracking and fun special features! (compare to a 60 dollar logitech)
