I ordered Westinghouse 26in LCD DVD Combo at the higher price fo $498 and the price was reduced to $399. I ahve requeted the price protection and am waiting.The device arriaved with the usual good speed, and once pluged in a channel scan found many new channels, however abotu 50% have ''no picture available'' I assume due to marginal signal. The TV works well.However the DVD did not work and I had the freeze while surfing problem mentioned above. Manufacturer support was no help, and I am awaitng the replacement from Tiger, hopefully today.

I bought Westinghouse 26in DVD Combo set (minus the DVD player)at a Compusa store last week and will be returning the set today, I love the set and the picture, however once the set is on for awhile and gets warm and is turned off, it sometimes WILL NOT COME BACK ON. Once the set cools it comes back on. The set I got is defective. So much for them ''testing'' these refurbished sets.

Bought this a few months ago and haven't had any of the problems mentioned by others. Beautiful picture, picks up other stations I don't normally get with just basic cable. Even think it is picking up some of my neighbors stations who is paying for DISH. Just wish I'd bought a bigger screen!

Awesome TV. I'm a sixty-five year-old hippy who wasn't planning on getting another set. But the tube set on which I have depended for over ten years gave out. What a blessing!The Westinghouse is not only a great bargain, but the HD picture is fantastic! I was so impressed I just sat there staring at the colors and the fantastic sharpness. Simple set up, was good to go in about 15 minutes (my neighbor set it up for me on a new HD box.)I heartily recommend this set to folks on a fixed income but whose world is accessed through the TV.

This is a wonderful set. Receives more channels than my other sets and has a bright, detailed picture on both analog and digital channels.The response to its remote is variable and a little less sensitive than I would have liked. The set will often freeze on channel changes but can be restored by pushing the power button for about 20 seconds. If used in a bedroom, Westinghouse 26in LCD DVD Combo will get you out of bed to reset it from time to time.I use a channel master antenna and 20 dB preamp into an 8 way splitter with great results. Westinghouse Digital had no helpful hints other than a complete reset and it changed nothing about the freezing issue. If you can stand reseting it, the price at Tigerdirect is terrific and you should look carefully at it.
