I would not use Visiontek TV Wonder HD 650 HDTV Tuner card in VISTA. The drivers will not work using media center. I purchased 2 cards and installed them into a new system with VISTA Home Prem. After very poor tech support they balme vista for the driver problems. The cards worked perfect in a XP system. Tech support is the worst I have ever had. Buy Hauppauge instead. 4 months of emails and new drivers that still don't work.

Picked Visiontek TV Wonder HD 650 HDTV Tuner up a few weeks ago as a replacement for my ATI AIW9600. The picture quality looks good but slightly over processed. The software doesn't let you watch tv in a small window on your desktop anymore like in ATI-MMC. Its input res or fullscreen only. Has macrovision built into the hardware so you cant plug your dvd player in the back anymore. No thank-you ATI.

you all should know that if its a software issue then you do not know what you are doing if you have a ati ready pc meaning ati video card ati on mainboard then your machine will run it if you have nivida junk then try getting a TV tuner buy nividia simple as this nividia drivers are not compatible with ati so if you have a 9800 gtx or a singular product of nividia then the TV this TV tuner will not be user friendly.

hello every body!i am a former amd/ati employee and pc addict!i have this card for over a year now and works great. runs excellent in vista.i havent even loaded any other drivers just the ones from MS updates.

This is my 2nd ATI tuner card, and I keep asking myself why did I do it again? The hardware of the card really is good. good picture quality, that is just about the only good thing I can say for this product. I had several problems installing software and drivers, when you call for support Vision Tec tells you to call ATI, ATI tells you to call AMD, AMD tells you to call Vision Tec. It is a tech support nightmare. getting past the PROBLEMS of installation, once you get the darn thing to work there are several issues. First being that the Catalyst program has a very light gray background and the text is white. Very hard to read no matter what you try to do, and there are no skins to change to get a better contrast. then the stupid remote has no stop button. There is a ''stop'' on the control panel window but not on the remote? Best bet would be to use this hardware and find a better 3rd party software for your tv and tv guide features. works for me.
