Works like a champ, Drivers Worked first try for me.

Card has great specs and features, especially for AGP. That and the reasonable price attracted me to it, but like mentioned here and all over the web, the drivers for it are very poor (ATI official, and Omega) and VisionTek Radeon HD 2600 XT Video Card causes the card to barely function, if at all. Personally, I have had numerous problems every time that I have given ATI another chance, as their stuff looks good on paper, but never works for me when installed.

Well had VisionTek Radeon HD 2600 XT card for a couple of weeks and now visiontek has it so they can fix it... After three weeks of being gone I still have seen the card and they said it would probally be replaced. I would go with another company and not buy from ATI or Visiontek, thats me though.

This may become a nice card if they ever develop a set of solid drivers for it. I even tried it with a clean install of vista, and the drivers are really bad, even the latest versions. ATI doesn't provide them directly, you have to get them from VisionTek. I can't run City of Heroes, or Lord of the Rings Online. The video driver is constantly locking up or just crashing completely. Don't buy it until you see completely functional drivers; you won't be happy.

This card does exactly what it is supposed to do. Not sure why so many people are having problems with drivers. Go to Visiontek's website and download latest drivers!!! I am running XP have 3 gigs of memory and a dual core AMD processor on an ASUS A8V and it works wonderfully!!! Play COD4 on highest settings with no lag whatsoever!!! Crysis is on med settings, but beautiful picture...Just buy it, I replaced my old XFX 6600GT with this and WOW...What a difference!!! I have been a big advocate of Nvidia in the past, but this card has changed my mind. If you have an intel processor and chipset made to work with Nvidia, do not buy ATI!!! If you have AMD processor and a chipset made to work with ATI you are Golden! It is that simple. Talk to anyone who builds computers for gaming, and they will agree. If you don't know anyone, try stopping into Tiger Direct and ask, as they have some very intellegent people working for them!!!!
