The video card is only as good as the drivers and support. I submitted a trouble ticket to ATI only for them to play stupid. I couldn't get any game to work that uses directx 9.c namely age of empires III. All the forums complain about the same issues. Someday there will be hopefully drivers for XP that will allow playing games without graphic issues. Least I have windows working.

I got the last xx.6 June '08 Catalyst and my drivers dropping out problem lessened but has yet to disappear, and it is a shame as the card is very good. With VisionTek Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB AGP fault the card is hardly worth a premium retail price if you ask me as it is faulted.Mine just drops the drivers and recovers during playing games so the rest of the use is good and the desktop and IE and so forth, pictures and images are excellent. It is just the drivers are too faulty to allow good game play.

Grossly disappointed. Mated with an MSI K8T Neo2-F v2.0 Mobo & AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ CPU, 2GB RAM & XP PRO. It can't run a single EA game without crashing. No support from ATI, VisionTek or AMD. Back to nVidia for future purchases.

Don't waste you money on VisionTek Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB AGP card if you are trying to make your computer a gaming PC. Almost every time I try to play games like Grip, NFS Pro Street, Devil May Cry 4 I get a blue screen and have to keep rebooting my computer or this card makes my computer reboot without press anything. Don't even think about playing Crysis, you won't be able to see the characters. If you want to upgrade you computer to play the new game Get the AGP Radeon HD 3850 IceQ3 care. This card can play any game you throw at it.

Bought this as an upgrade for older (2002) performance machine. It hasn't lived up to my expectations yet.Here it is May of 20008 and am still waiting for drivers that will actually work with any of the games or graphics software that i am using. It appears this card has become an orphan to ATI.
