USB 2.0 to SVGA Adapter is a great device if you want to use two monitors and your video card does not support it. That pros are great productivity and faster of accomplishing goals, the cons are that the monitor connected to USB 2.0 to SVGA Adapter device lags for about 2 seconds which in my case kind of sucks. But still great to have instead of buying a new video card.

We are yet to see a USB2-based card that would come with the 'stable' drivers, which play nice with the Display Properties Control Panel applet. There are two issues with this product: 1) restarting Windows sometimes causes the monitor to show a 3''-tall black band at the bottom of the screen that covers the displayed information (this can be fixed only by shutting down WindowsXP completely), 2) the Configuration application that comes with this product sometimes has no effect with respect to the Resolution or multi-monitor settings (I wish the product would be controlled only by using the Display Properties, why reinvent the wheel and create custom Configuration programs?). Would not recommend this product, generates too many support calls.

Extreme latency and screen freezes. Does not support resolutions higher than 1280x1042. I cannot recommend this product.

This works great for a second monitor. Programs or online video will drag right onto the second monitor. All you have to do is install the software and plug in the cable to your usb port. Select whether you want the 2nd monitor to the right left or above and your cursor will go from one monitor to the other. A great product!!!
