The perfect GPS system. TomTom ONE XL-S GPS (Refurbished) is all anyone needs. It can tell you street names with your instructions (text-to-speech) and looks great. The custom color selection lets you pick what looks best to you. The custom voices are great. And the auto zoom in and out while driving is a must. I will suggest TomTom ONE XL-S GPS GPS to everyone. The large 4.3'' screen just rounds out this fantasic unit. Very easy to use. Even my wife loves it.

I am giving average reviews, not good reviews, mostly because of the Tomtom Home program. There were disappointing glitches in software which made the appearance on my monitor too big so I had to change the resolution to see it, and the box called Operate my Device was not working so I could not program the device with my computer. Who knows, if the computer interface was working correctly I might not want to try another brand. I'm not happy with all the time I had to put into it before ever getting on the road.

Great item, software works great in Vista. TomTom has the Latest Map Guaranteed, which is good for refurbished items also. They also have a ton of free items for download that other users created. I have the Austin powers voice over directions, Yeah Baby! Works great everytime. Could not find any flaws physically on this device! No cons just all pros for this item!

I am not sure how to review this item. We recently drove all over the Maritimes Provinces, Quebec and Ontario. Sometimes the unit could not determine where we were, on the TransCanada! Then it took us on backroads instead of the highway (we did not select ''off highway''). Sometimes TomTom ONE XL-S GPS (Refurbished) was fantastic though. The screen is easy to see, and the instructions are okay. My friend has a Garmin that she swears by - and it seemed to have better features - hers can find you a liquor store, (which would have been very useful) while the XL-S finds you a casino or a church!

This is my second Tom Tom XL-S. My boyfriend originally bought this unit for me as a birthday present. A month later my car was broken into and TomTom ONE XL-S GPS was stolen. I was so bummed and determined to get another one. I researched all of the brands and compared all of the models. This unit came out number one on my list! He did a great job with my present! I could not be happier! The refurbished unit is a GREAT deal, my boyfriend bought mine new for $380 at Best Buy. The XL-S is easy to operate, the 4.3'' screen size is large and easy to see. I would hands down recommend this unit and this website to purchase a GPS unit from. Shipping was fast! P.S. Please learn from my misfortune, do not ever leave your TomTom in your car, bring it into your house every night or during the day put it in your trunk!
