I was a bit hesitant due to The HP Pavilion A6437c Refurbished Desktop being a refurbished item due to most reviews on them making it out to be a gamble but after I received the item I was quite pleased. It's as fast as the specs describe it to be. I was simply blown away at the beauty of the graphical display of Vista. The HP Pavilion A6437c is an excellent computer for the price. I got it for my mother for her office work and she loves the speed of it. If you're a student writing papers this will work for you. Also will run older games (like the sims2) but other than that this is not a computer for gamers though. I still give it 5 stars as it serves it's purpose for office use! HP forgot to stick the keyboard in the box but thankfully there was an old one in the house.. Still would have preferred a new keyboard.

A fantastic TD buy. Vista 64-bit has not been any problem (even considering upgrading my other vista machine to 64!) Would like to have had a larger power supply to be able to add a PCIe card and case fan (surprise, there is no case fan, just a fan on the chip cooler). Delivery was TD quick, as usual.

My old computer started crashing once a day, so The HP Pavilion A6437c Refurbished Desktop was time for new computer. This computer is an excellent value and easily runs Vista 64 bit. The integrated video card is better than my old GeForce 5200 FX. The lack of a case fan is a disappointment, but I just went and bought another fan (92mm). This computer is much quiter than my old computer. The power source still uses the old 4 pin molex design, so you'd need adapters for more modern hard drives or video cards. The keyboard and mouse use the old ps2 interface, but function beautifully. Excellent buy for the money!
