The Systemax VLS 2U Server is designed to be an entry level, cost effective, file and print server. This server is built with the SOHO customer in mind, offering an affordable solution to meet the customer's file, print and entry level application serving needs.

The VLS 2U Server offers ease of use and robust performance without taxing an already tight budget. This unit is versatile enough to suit the entry-level networking needs of the small business customer.

Functionality

The VLS 2U server features and performance is centered on the Intel DQ45CB motherboard. The CPU, being the cornerstone of the server's performance capabilities, is the Pentium Dual Core E5300 processor. The integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter, giving the VLS the bandwidth to meet the ever growing demands of today's server applications. The motherboard also offers the SOHO customer, RAID support in the form of RAID 1 mirroring. This provides the data protection from the hardware, which is typically seen on higher end serving solutions.
