The G45 server features and performance is centered on the MSI G45M-FIDR motherboard. The CPU, being the cornerstone of the server's performance capabilities, is the Pentium D E2200 processor. The integrates a 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter, as well as a second PCI Gigabit Ethernet adapter for implementing Small Business Server 2003, giving the G45 the bandwidth to meet the ever growing demands of today's server applications. The motherboard also offers the SOHO customer, RAID support in the form of RAID 1 mirroring. This provides the data protection from the hardware, which is typically seen on higher end serving solutions.
