I bought Smartparts SP1100B 11" Digital Picture Frame frame in July. At the time, it came with a 3-month warranty. The picture quality was good and sufficiently bright. However, the slowest slide show speed is 10 seconds. The transitions are lousy. There is no option to randomize the display. Worst of all, is that one month after the warranty expired, the frame died. No wonder the new frames now have a 1-month warranty. That is the shortest warranty period I have ever heard of, with the exception of no warranty at all. I suspect that the company does not expect these items to last, so I would recommend buying from a different manufacturer; one who will stand behind their product.

I have last year's model, not Smartparts SP1100B 11" Digital Picture Frame specific one. it used a refurbished DVD player screen, that's why they're so cheap. Smartparts SP1100B 11" Digital Picture Frame was bright, and you could see the pictures fine, but Smartparts SP1100B 11" Digital Picture Frame was nowhere near the quality of any other photo frame I've seen. I think I would have been better off getting a smaller screen form a different company, but I wanted to hang it up. Well, it's up, but it's always off now, because it keeps on 'losing' the connection with the USB drive. It'll play for some random amount of time (usually less than 1 hour), and then I'll get the menu screen asking where the files are located, with no option for the USB drive; it's not recognized anymore until I reboot the frame. This may have been fixed, but I wanted to share my experience with how this company's product quality is poor. This frame looks exactly like mine, but has an updated model number.
