The AirCard 881 has a built-in SIM card slot that lets you use your own cell phone SIM card (or get a new SIM card from your provider for 100% dedicated usage). Sierra AirCard 881 Wireless Unlocked PC Card is a super deal! My laptop works just as fast as my cable modem does on my laptop! To optimize it's performance you should go to the Sierra website and download the latest firmware version. Also, you may need to configure a 2nd ATT connection and change the name from isp.cingular to wap.cingular to gain maximum 3G speed. Sierra AirCard 881 Wireless Unlocked Card is a great deal at this price!
