I ordered Sharp 32" 720p LCD after getting and e-mail aobut it from tiger direct. I thought the price was right for the features. The tv set up easily and was up and working in no time......for about 20 minutes, then it shut off and would not turn back on, nothing but a flashing green light. After talking to a customer service rep from Sharp, Sharp 32" 720p LCD was determined that the TV would have to be repaired or returned to the retailer. Sharp 32" 720p item cannot be returned to tiger direct, so my next option is to have it repaired at a certified repair place, which is in another town 45 miles away. So lucky me! It is disappointing to get something new that you have spent a significant amount of money on and then not get to use it until it is repaired. I hope that this is not a problem with these sets, but it is something to think about before purchase

This is one beautiful TV. I use it in my bedroom, so it doesn't get a LOT of viewing time. I have played a few DVD's on this TV and the picture quality is pretty stunning. Even digital TV is VERY NICE. Also TigerDirect is awesome to deal with. I ordered the TV on a Sunday night and it got to my front door on Wednesday morning. Can't beat that. And the pricing is great too. I got free shipping and no sales tax. The same TV, even at Wally World would have cost me a hundred more including tax. I'm VERY happy.
