I too encoutered the D:DVR_DATA.5 '' ERROR if you create the directories it wants Q-See DVR PCI Card (4-channel) will load program so. You create D:dvr_data then in that folder you create the VIDEO folder and so on. after you creat four camX folders 1-4. Program loads, maybe just a dell and vista problem or just vista. Not sure, but it does load on new dell computers if you manually create its directories.David

Q-See DVR PCI Card (4-channel) was my 1st home video surveillance setup. I combined Q-See DVR PCI Card 4-channel card with 3 Q-See outdoor day/night cameras. Everything was plug/play and mostly intuitive. The software that comes with this card is feature rich, solid, flexible and simple. The software by itself is worth the $70. I will buy another in the future. The one nitpicky complaint I have is the ''Changlish'' in the documentation.

I thought this was a good buy, but it does not come with PVR software as such. The software which comes included is ok for simple apps, but it may be a good idea to download something better.
