My first self-built computer! Great cpu, nice memory, great onboard video and sound. Only problem is the the chipset heat sink- one of the thumb tacks was loose, probably pushed out from the back cuz i tightened the mobo too hard, but i was able to retighten it and it has stayed put since. Works fine, very good bios, very quiet (with thermaltake cpu fan) I will definetly reccomend PCChips A15G Socket AM2 Barebone Kit bundle to anyone looking for a fast, cheap, and simple budget pc that can easily pull off as a decent gaming pc. very good buy, and as usual, it arrived early! XP crashes during setup. The PCChips manual for the motherboard says two sticks of RAM may be needed - The kit comes with one. Or, the problem could be one of the 200 undocumented BIOS settings.

Easy build. Great basic PC for the price. No problem running one stick of RAM with XP Pro. I've built many PC's with PCChips boards without any problems. I usually set optimal performance option in the BIOS.
