Mine died in 10 months of use, no sympathy from the manufacturer tech department. Logic circuit on the cooling system failed causing it to shut down repeatedly. Cheaper to buy a new one than to get it fixed. Don't recommend Optoma DX607 3000 Lumens DLP Projector unit.

I Can feel sorry for the guy that wrote the review before me, All DLP and LCD run hot. Do not clean them plugged in or running make sure they are cool first. Like anything you do have to take care. I have used Optoma projectors and have never had a problem with quality. But I know of other who have had problems. Most were thier own fault, Let cool before moving your projector and buy extra bulb just in case.Optoma DX607 3000 Lumens DLP Projector projector is very bright & very clear.It works well with laptops & desktop I use mine with a proable 5 channel sound system.Please remember in a room with a tall ceiling say 12 ft or more if it is 70 on the floor it could be 120 or more at one foot below the ceiling. In a room with tall ceiling try to mount it at least three feet from ceiling and never put on a shelf across room or in a box they need plenty of air.Never turn back on right after shut down for over heat,look first Paper, plastic or dust turning it back on when hot will fry the cercuits.
