I love my L2! I had one for nearly three years and really used it hard. It's so stylish - I always got compliments on it. Sometimes the key response was a bit sluggish, but really those are milliseconds which probably didn't add up to half an hour of television-watching. My phone finally broke after it got soaked during a super-rainy hike. I will buy another Motorola for sure!

Great phone for the price. but standby time is only few days, so I called Motorola Customer Service and they sent me a replacement battery by FED-EX 2 day at no charge including pre-paid fed-ex label to send the defective battery back to them at their cost. I was told that charge should remain for at least 7 days on standby on the new L2 phones and not few days only. Motorola L2 Unlocked GSM Cell Phone could be the reason if the new phones are sitting on the shelf for over year or two from the manufactured date. Anyway the new battery works great and holds the charge for at least 6-7 days just as they informed.

Just received my L2 in the mail yesterday. So far so good. I was loooking for a new but basic phone at a low price for just calls and text (SMS) but I also needed bluetooth. Motorola L2 Unlocked GSM phone is exactly what I needed & wanted - an unlocked GSM with bluetooth. I don't other unnecessary crap like cameras, mp3 players, etc.

Taking another reviewer's word that it truly is a quad-band phone (I needed the 850Hz range for my market), I took a chance and ordered the phone. I'm happy to report that the box does indicate it is a quad band phone, and my phone operates fabulously. I needed a business phone that didn't have a camera for a good price, and I love pink! Couldn't be happier!

Motorola quality. Number buttons are small. Slim design. Standard Motorola menu. Accepted overseas SIM card immediately, so obviously is unblocked. Frequencies allow for use in Europe or Africa.
