I own a Slingbox and now a Hava. Setup was very easy with the Hava, but I had initial problems with ghosting and shifting on the component feed. Monsoon HAVA Platinum HD looked like a comon problem for a few of the STB (i.e. Comcast). Following the support forum (which is very good) I found a firmware update dated 10/15. Since I loaded Monsoon HAVA Platinum HD patch, I've had no further problems with my Hava. Great job Monsoon!From a features perspective, the main reason I decided to get the Hava was it's integration ability with Media Center. The Slingbox does not have this feature. I would also say the Hava player software has much better resolution for high def content. On the other hand, the Slingbox player is much more user friendly. If you have HD, want Media Center integration, the Hava is the best choice.
