Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth Laser Mouse 8000 Reviews

Don't buy Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth Laser Mouse 8000 mouse -- it is terrible. First of all, it isn't really bluetooth at all -- it is bluetooth but runs via a bluetooth connection in a USB stick. So you still have to carry around a USB stick with you everywhere. The mouse is not smooth at all, there is a lag from your movement and the cursor movement. And it says rechargeable, but it still runs on a AA battery -- the charging dock just recharges that rechargeable battery.Notice that Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth Laser Mouse 8000 product can't be returned either -- I think that is for a reason, it is extremely misleading!! Looks like a great mouse, but its really not. And I should mention that is it big as hell too -- much larger than a typical mouse.

Despite some of the bad reviews I decided to give this mouse a try on my macbook pro. Although it states on the packaging that this mouse works in Windows XP and Vista it had no problem connecting to my mbp with leopard. This mouse works flawlessly. Like all Microsoft mice this one is not a disappointment. If you are looking for a mouse with a lot of buttons with special functions this mouse might not be for you, but if you are looking for a laser bluetooth mouse that just works, this does. It's a little expensive for a mouse but worth the price to me.

Terrible mouse. Laser tracking is terrible. Scroll wheel lacks tactile feedback for discrete scroll events. Ergonomic design is uncomfortable after hours of use. Horizontal scrolling hardware design prevents many intentional middle clicks from being registered. The only good things about this mouse are reasonable battery life and Bluetooth connectivity. Definitely don't buy this mouse.See a more detailed review at http://stuff.silverorange.com/archives/2007/march/lasermouse8000

This mouse is...ok... but not worth the price. Bluetooth connectivity is intermittent. Good battery life. Gamer, stay away.

I have owned this mouse for about 1 year and to tell you the truth it is one of the best mice that i have ever used no draging at all. Side buttons are a bit of a head ache at first but ounce you get the hang of them they are great to have. I am a big time gamer and it is great on the games I play. I use this mouse on my laptop most of the time and my desktop when I am home. I can only say one word for this mouse perfect.
