I think bought Logitech Cordless Trackman mouse in 1999 or 2000 and I am still using it today. I love it. It has great range on the wireless and is extreamly comfortable to use. I am thinking about buying another one now just so I have it if mine ever does die.

An excellent product that I have used with desktop and laptop for years. Use with a laptop is a hassle due to the long cord on the transceiver. Wish Logitech would replace the bulky transceiver to match the smaller USB sticks that they use with their mice. I run ACAD productively while sitting in the lazy-boy.

I would agree with the rave reviews here. I never became adept with a mouse, just never could get them to respond, and would often find myself breaking a rib, leaning way over my desk to wheel the mouse around on the far edge where it had strayed as I tried to get it to work for me. No worries about that with Logitech Cordless Trackman stationary unit. Size is a real consideration for me, as my hands are small, and I would struggle to comfortably encompass most trackballs I looked at. This one is a perfect fit, so ergonomically correct that I keep my hand at rest on it even when there is no need. I wouldn't consider any other model now. I am working on wearing out my second one now, ordering my third today. I always worry that Logitech will quit producing this model, and I would be absolutely lost without it. Being cordless works better for me. This one has ''taken many a licking and kept on ticking''. Cost has become more reasonable each time I look at them. Try it, you'll love it!

Best product electronic product I have ever purchased!I first got this back in 2000 for $99 CDN with a $10 US rebate and it only just finally died. I swear over the course of eight years it hit the floor over a thousand times and had drinks spilt on it almost as many. My elbow and wrist used to get sore using a regular mouse, but not with this. Once you get past the learning curve of using your thumb to place the cursor, you will never want to go back. Just wish Logitech would up date it with some of the wheel and button options their other pointing devices have.

This is a great mouse with one major flaw. With no cord, nothing prevents it from being dropped under certain circumstances. Since it is not ruggedized, it had a tendency for the buttons to break. After its fourth fall onto a hard tile floor, I was unable to fix it. Plus, being wireless, it is slightly less responsive and went to ''sleep mode'' after a time, and had to be reawakened. I have replaced it with the corded version which is cheaper and very responsive.
