Great buy @ only 30 bucks for a PCI card w/ high gain antenna. Software lacks features, but what features do you really need anyhow? It's range is fairly impressive. My router sits in a room on the top floor of my two story home, and the card keeps a connection strength of 70% @ 36Mbps consistently. My prior adapter, a Netgear USB model, only had connection strengths of 30%-40%. The computer Hiro H50169 Wireless G Network Adapter is being used on is in my basement by the way :) There was one odd thing about my purchase though...it wasn't the Hiro H50169 that arrived @ my house, but some Encore ENLWI-G2. No matter though, works a charm!

5 stars all the way. Hiro H50169 Wireless G Network Adapter thing was less, even with S&H then this linksys one I bought. I had a poor connection, at 5MBPS with my linksys. Bought this was and my connection boosted to 54mpbs going from poor to good. I love the idea of the extenable antenna, and if you don't need it includes a regular one that plugs in the back of the PCI card.This does work for vista, but read Q&A section if you are having problems, I responded to it.

This 11g card is exactly what I always want that really works with a powerful 5dbi antenna. I've bought several high gain antenna but Hiro must did a thorough testing to make sure of the compatibility and I am impressed with its performance. The magnetic stand also helps to secure it on top of my PC. Great products and highly recommended to those who want to replace their low reception wireless card.

I've tried many wireless cards but I have to say that this cards beats all of them, the signal strength is higher than the USB and my previous D-link card. Great products!!
