I installed Hiro H50069 PCI Wireless Network Adapter card into a 7 year old HP with a 700mhz Celeron chip running Windows ME, loaded the software and picked up 4 other wireless networks right away (2 houses away got 52% reception!) with the stubby antenna! Great price great product!

I've installed Hiro H50069 PCI Wireless Network Adapter card in two computers for friend with a three story house. Her PCs are accessing her 1st-floor AP from the basement and the upper floors just fine, thanks to the moveable antenna. A lot of bang for the buck!

Running XP x64 Pro you'll need to get drivers from realtek. It's called the RTL8185 54M Wireless LAN Driver Versio 5.1107.514.2008. This thing works great from 3 rooms away. I'm VERY inpressed. It gets more signal than my laptop

Cheap. Works. Reception is great. The main reasons I picked this one is because of the nice external antenna and price. Reception is great. I even discovered a neighbor has a wireless net that my other WiFi stuff never picked up.The documentation and on-screen setup aren't at all clear. Folks who already know how to set up wireless cards can easily find and tweak what they need but newbies beware.
