Hiro H50011 5-Port 10/100 Mbps Network Switch
The Hiro H50011 is a powerful, high-performance Fast Ethernet switch, with all 5 ports capable of 10 or 100Mbps auto-negotiation operation (NWay), meaning that the switch could automatically negotiate with the connected partners on the network speed and duplex mode (Full duplex or Half duplex). This H50011, in fact, is an ideal solution for micro-segmenting large networks into smaller, connected subnets for better performance efficiency, thus enabling bandwidth demanding multimedia and imaging applications to operate on workstations. Moreover, the 10/100Mbps auto-sensing ability provides an easy way to migrate 10Mbps to 100Mbps network with no pain.

Compared to the shared 10Mbps or 100Mbps networks, the NWay switch delivers a dedicated 10/100Mbps connection to every attached client with no bandwidth congestion issue. Store-and-forward switching modes promises the low latency and eliminates all the network errors, including runt and CRC Checksum on recognizing error packets. The full-duplex transmission and reception mode allow the frames to be transfer simultaneously without causing collisions.

I love Hiro 5-Port Switch product when i read the spec on Hiro 5-Port Switch product it could not turn me away from it. the price is good for 14.99 you can't beat that, two the plug and play features plug it in and bam you are up and running no hassles and no problems. I was going to buy Dlink router once i read the info on this router couln't turn it away some router require you to use the setup disk to get the router up and running this brand plug it in and you are up and running in matters of seconds so simply and easy.

Unit works great, just plug it in and go. I use the unit to interface a t-1 router to large network switches. Router and expensive switches would not play nice together. I put this in the middle to isolate the problem and it allowed all the equipment to play well with each other. Inexpensive switch allowed high dollar industrial network to operate flawless with out crashes. I plan on ordering a couple more for spares and test bench. Only con is the case is lightweight and move around where ever the cables want to pull it. Very much a + + +
