Installed easily, on first boot instantly recognized on 5 different PC's. Software went off without a hitch and network is functioning at a considerably faster pace. Great value and good product. As usual lightening fast delivery from Tiger. Thanks.

Just bought this card because motherboard LAN took a crap. Anyhow, installed on Windows Vista 64 computer with no problems. Didn't even have to use driver CD as Gigabit PCI Adapter was instantly recognized (and instantly worked). I am now buying another one, to see if it works OK on XP64. NOTE: This card at BestBuy is $29.99, so Global saves you $5.00 plus the gas you save driving there - and the aggravation of standing in Best Buy's long check out lines.

I haven't had any problems with this NIC, have been using it for over a year, and are very satisfied. I don't understand why you were having problems with this under Win2K3, because I use two of these on two different servers running that OS with no issues at all...all I had to do was install the driver that was on the CD.

I just purchased 3 Netgear GA311 cards and installed them in my machines using the instructions provided by Netgear (software first - then install the card). On two of the machines - the cards were recognized as a GA511 and would not load - after almost two hours on the phone with Netgear support - they told me it was a problem with my PS I'm returning $3000 worth of new Netgear hardware in the morning - Netgear support SUCKS!
