Although the last guy seems to feel that all Gatway computers are crap since he had a bad experience with another unit. I can say that the T1630 that we own has been nothing but perfect. We have had Gateway T-1630 Laptop computer for about 9 months and purchsed it from Best Buy. The speed is very good, out last Dell was faster but we paid for that upgrade in speed. We have always been Dell or HP owners, Gateway T-1630 is our first Gateway but will not be the last.

We bought a similar model Gateway MT3422 9 months ago. About 5 weeks ago it just stopped working. Gateway T-1630 Laptop was a nice computer while it worked but then it just stopped. Gateway has had the computer for 5 weeks, trying different repairs, without success. They refuse to replace it or refund our money. They win this battle but I will never buy another Gateway again.
