Gateway M-6846 Refurbished Notebook is a great deal and a great computer. Everything works fine on Gateway M-6846 machine. In fact the computer works blindingly fast compared to other computers I have owned. Top quality, Top hardware. There was a small scratch on the cover, a small price to pay for $250 off new price.Great Deal!

I ordered this laptop and it arrived with a broken up arrow key. I was okay with that - but then the mouse wouldn't work at all. I had to re-install Vista to get the mouse pad to work, and then the mouse kept freezing. I've currently sent the laptop I've gotten back and I'm waiting to get a new one. If there are any problems with the new laptop they send me I'm just going to return it and go buy a computer from another provider.

I bought the laptop as a refurbished item. I am blown away by the computer each day. It does everything well, and I am finding Vista totally stable, easy to use and handles the various multi-media functions easily. I replaced two other XP laptops with this one and I am amazed at the power, speed and ease-of-use this Gateway brings to the table... er... lap each day.
