Seems like $30 is alot to spend for a molded hunk of rubber and a plastic ball mounted atop it... but it really has worked well in my car. The Ford Flex has a windshield that makes the GPS too far to reach from the driver seat. Garmin 010-11280-00 Portable Friction Mount weighted, gel bottomed pad keeps the unit well planted on the dash within reach of the driver. Smaller and looks better than the sandbag ones.Really like the speed limits that show on the roads.
