I have owned Gateway, HP, Toshiba, Winbook and Sony Vaio notebooks since 1996 and Fujitsu LifeBook P1620 baby is the best so far! While I'm not a huge fan of the Tablet PC, the form & function of Fujitsu LifeBook P1620 ultra-portable PC (UMPC) is way ahead of all the other UMPCs.

Pros:
1. With 3hour battery the total weight is <1Kg (2lbs) and with the 6hr
battery the weight is 2.3lbs.
2. The six hour battery lasts approx 5.5 hours w/multitasking
3. I upgraded RAM to 2GB ($500 extra), performance is excellent.
4. (2) USB ports on P1620 and (2) more w/docking station
5. 9" LCD screen
6. PC card slot
7. SD card reader
8. 60GB HDD
9. fingerprint security scan
10. 802.11a/b/g WiFi
11. Bluetooth built-in
12. LoJack anti theft built in.
13. interchangeable form tablet or traditional notebook
14. tons of accessories available

For my configuration, I ordered a 48GB Compactflash card that I installed into the PC card slot with an adapter and a 32GB SDHC into the SD card reader to augment the 60GB HDD.

The Operating System is Microsoft Windows XP Tablet and then I added:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, Office 2007, Encarta 2008, Street & Trips 2008 w/GPS, iTunes 8.0 and WinDVD. To install software, you need an external DVD drive (separately).

All in all, it's a really good buy.
