Ordered two of these monitors. One was as late-model HP screen with a sleek slim bevel, the other was a very dated Samsung first-generation LCD screen with a very wide bevel and significant depth for an LCD; stylistically it looked its age. Stuck the Samsung in the back office. Both functioned perfectly with no flicker or dead pixels after three months of continuous use, and only minor cosmetic blemishes. The 1024x768 resolution limits its use primarily simple desktop workstation tasks. Overall, despite the inconsistencies in quality, am satisfied with Famous Brand 15" LCD Monitor purchase as a cost-effective way to equip a small office with limited computing needs.

Excellent value for anyone putting together a system not wanting anything fancy or more than OEM. I was very pleased with the monitor I received and would not hesitate ordering another one of these from Tiger Direct.
