Diamond Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB PCIe Reviews

I recently installed thsi video card and am not partially bald from pulling out my hair. Diamond Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB PCIe card crashes on most games i have attempted to play. Battlefield series, and quake wars. Will play games such as Eve Online and tabula rasa. i constantly will get a black screen, then suffering a lack of output as my monitor shows me it is not recieving a signal. I have gone through theTroubleshooting and other advice given my ATI support and naddah. I have never EVER had Diamond Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB PCIe much trouble with a video card before, and i have done a numerous amount of installs with minimal flaws. Avoid this card. I made the error or tossing my paperwork, and now i have to eat the $$$ it cost me...my fault. BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

My first card had the fan die after 2 months, my replacement card ( took a month and a half to get it from Diamond MM ) had the fan die in three days. When the card works it works quite well. Performance is good, but I won't be purchasing anything from Diamond again.

So far so good. I'm running this on an AMD 64 3500+/PCChips mobo with 2 GB RAM. Having the 512 on the card helps a lot - especially when running HD programs. I can't be it for the price, you get dual monitor plus HDMI support, what more could I want for $65 (after rebate). I'm only using this to connect to my TV via DVI/HDMI and to watch HD programming from my computer on a TV. Installing Diamond Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB PCIe was simple as well. It even directs you to disable any onboard video before installing.

Bought this for high end graphics and presentation machine I built for church. The price was phenominal and the unit works great. The 64 bit drivers from ATI and ATI Catlayst loaded and worked perfectly the first time. Graphics and really fast action movies run without a hitch even when using extended desktop and displaying on two outputs. Excellent value and performance would definitely purchase again.Asus M2r32-MVP board,AMD 6400 X2 chip, Antec 430 watt powersupply, 2 gig Crucial Ballistix memory,WD Sata 3 500 Gig hard drive, Antec Super Lanboy case, Windpws XP 64 bit operating system.

I can play Team Fortress 2 and all newer source games at 110+ FPS with an overclock using RivaTuner. This is a good video card but I'd advise you to go with the 8600 GT or save more money and grab an HD3850.
