Diamond Radeon HD 2400 Pro 512MB PCIe Reviews

Based on the price, you shouldn't expect Diamond Radeon HD 2400 Pro 512MB PCIe thing to produce quality similar to $500 cards, much less $200 ones, but it is certainly not anything you can frown upon. The performance has been just great for me. I've had it for four months and use it on a 24-inch widescreen HP monitor. I am not disappointed at all. Movies look great on it. Everything is crystal-clear and is 20x better once you factor in the cost. If you aren't a gamer or high-end graphics designer/video editor, get Diamond Radeon HD 2400 Pro 512MB PCIe card--you won't be disappointed.

Bought this card because of HDMI output. Low rating because: printed installation instructions (generic) do not match this card, manual on CD did not match this card, neither drivers on the CD rom nor at the Diamond site work with my mobo (Abit- I-45 series) and CPU (Intel core II duo). Installation error message said my hardware and OS (Win- XP) were not compatible with the card! This card is NOT recommended.

Initially purchased with the one goal of connecting to a 52'' DTV using HDMI. Card performed beyond my wildest dreams. Now watching streaming movies (Netflix) on the Big Screen. Install/setup was totally painless, and the software has more features than will ever be needed. This is the BEST value for a HDMI capable video card!

For an under $100 card it performs great. For video editing it's great, the HD capabilities really shine. Even watching HD video it never passes 45 degrees C and thats with stock cooling. Great value if you don't need a super high end card.

Has anyone tried to crossfire this card??? I bought one of these a few months ago and am very pleased for the price. Just wandering what all I would need to do to crossfire two of these?
