I've been buying these for use in the shop and office areas of my company. I got tired of Linksys hardware- poor coverage and having to reset/reconfigure a lot. So, I threw them all out and replaced them with these and the DI-808HV routers. I never have had to touch them again and the coverage is much better. Definitely worth the extra cost.

Needed a replacement for a dead Netgear AP. D-Link Wireless Access Point unit was easy to setup. Didn't use the software for setup, just the web interface. Works great with Wii, Zune80, PS3, Gateway Notebook. Using WPA2-PSK with AES. Used the same setup as I had with the netgear and everything just worked. Not using the super G because none of my Wi-Fi networked items have anything but basic G.

I've had it about 2 months now and I'm really impressed. Range is real good. Admin program is nice (Doesn't use web browser). set up all security features with no issues. Using it at work, but I'm gonna buy one for home right now.

I've purchased at least 20 of these units over the years, So I guess D-Link Wireless Access Point makes me a bit of an authority on them. I've found them to be very easy to setup and they perform great. The only negative I've found is they need to be located in locations that are not exposed to temp extremes. When placed in an unheated/ cooled room I've had a few fail, otherwise I would say this is a good product.

Bought this as my first foray into the realm of wireless networking and found it to be a very good unit. Easy to set-up and performed flawlessly first time. I have had nothing but success with D-Link products (routers, kvm switch) so this really no surprise. Model with POE would have provided more flexibility in locating the unit, but that's for next time.
