Great router! I am using a DSL connection through Earthlink that uses PPOE. If you use D-Link Gigabit Router router with PPOE make sure you download the newest firmware version 1.8 dated 4/2007 otherwise there are connection problems.

Fantastic router, blows my previous (LinkSys) router away. Drastically improved my ping (and game scores)... no lag, no latency, smooth connections and improved Ventrilo performance. No-brainer plug and play setup. Thanks D-Link and Tiger Direct!

DO NOT BUY! D-Link Gigabit Router is a great router, I've owned it for 6 months with no issues. This past week it stopped working. So as of now I have made 6 phone calls to D-Link and wasted about 4 hours of my time. All the people I have talked to there can barely speak english, and I still have not gotten an RA to return it. I've been through their trouble shooting system 3 times and they still will not give me a ra. My advice is to go with another brand.

The value for this gaming router is a bit tad high to me. The features and quality were great. And the performance were excellent! Once I turned on the router, it reconized my two desktop computers and a laptop computer within a nanosecond. I played my wargame without any problems and it did excellent job with my war game with other players online. No more problems like the old one did. Despite the price, the product were highly recommended. It is well worth it! My family love the new gaming router
