My cable did not come on a spool as in the picture. I ordered a quantity of two, and both of them were loose packed in a box. Cables Unlimited Cable Network Kit makes the cable very likely to be tangled, as with boxes of cable like Cables Unlimited Cable Network that I have ordered in the past. I've been working with computers and networks since 1983, so take this review for what it is worth.

tester requires both ends to be availalbe for use of this one tester, wire can't be run out and then be tested unless you get a second tester. over all a good deal though.
