Have had for about a month now and all works as expected. The only odd thing I can report is at first only one computer would work. I switched wires on the computers with each other and then the other system was not working, I tried pressing the button to switch computers but it would immediately switch back. I figured maybe one of the cords were bad however as a second test I switched the cords on the back of the kvm switch and it worked. Not sure why Cables Unlimited 2-Port Micro KVM Switch happens but I tried repeating test and put the wires back the way they were and one computer would not work. Wonder if the wires are plug specific, have no clue. It is working and I will leave the wires the way they are. I am going to order another as I use 2 monitors on both systems and need a switch for the second monitor only. Would recommend. Also noted that the switch automatically senses which computer is on and switches to that computer.

Very simple setup. Nice metal housing; 2 LEDs to indicate which computer you are interfacing with. Only complaint is it beeps at you when you switch computers (To be more direct, an audio tone is a nice feature to let the user confirm he has switched computers successfully, but the tone of the beep is a bit shrill.). All in all, a very nice piece of equipment for the money.

Got Cables Unlimited 2-Port Micro KVM Switch for a client, works great with a normal PC, even with a wireless logitec keyboard and mouse. media buttons work no problem. However, when going to a laptop docking station, it ceases to function at all. having 2 PCs hooked up is great, be wary if you want to use it for a laptop.

This switch has worked fine right out of the box. I have not been able to get my USB mouse to work with the switch; not sure what it doesn't like about using a USB to PS/2 adapter. But, the keyboard and monitor work with no problems, and it is not difficult to switch from one mouse to another as needed.Getting the item out of the hard-plastic molded packing was a challenge.I would recommend this to anyone needing a PS/2 based KVM switch.

works great! got my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse connected to it and running without a prob. great buy for the bucks.
