My phone wouldn't connect to Rogers EDGE network. Only edge (lower case). As such, email etc. didn't work with our BES. My old 8700r, 7300 and an 8800 all worked fine with my sim card and our BES.

A Great blackberry, ever used it over 2 years. I have used pearl/curve before - slow to type with small keys, Blackberry 8700G Unlocked GSM Cell Phone is great for composing (typing) e-mail/txt message. Responds Quick & Faster!!! If you are a productive person looking for a reasonably priced phone, with QWERTR Keyboard, great oranizer, it has got all stuff to MAX. your productivity keeping you focused what you are doing.

By far the best Blackberry from any on the market - I've used the pearl, curve, 8800 and the lower end models. The software on Blackberry 8700G Unlocked GSM phone responds quicker than the higher models and there are more features that the lower end models. Keyboard is very comfortable.
