The Belkin Wireless G Router lets users share files and a broadband Internet connection among their computers-without using networking cables. It features 802.11g technology that makes accessing files and networked peripherals-such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs, and DVDs-easier than ever. 802.11g technology provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi (802.11b) standard. An integrated, 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch also allows you to connect wired computers to the network. 802.11g technology is the easiest wireless network to implement. The Router uses the wireless 802.11g 2.4GHz standard to offer you 400 feet of wireless coverage. 802.11g technology is backward compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi networking standard, so it allows you to implement faster wireless technologies in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks.

Just bought is yesterday and was busted. Was on a call with Belkin ME1004-R Wireless G Router agent for 83 minutes trying to figure out IP address changes, adding Staic IP addresses, configuring IP address and modem connection to the router, JUST DOESN'T WORK..

i've received the item last friday, i've used it for 2 days and now it's busted..i've called the customer support service and it didn't help..so the service rep. told me to return the item back..i've returned the item today..it cost me another extra $12 for that plus the no. of days upon the return of the replacement..

I purchased Belkin ME1004-R Wireless G Router item a couple of weeks ago and so far it has been working flawlessly. The set up took me about 5 minutes including setting up security so my internet doesn't get stolen. Great product! AND a great price.

I love this router just by the looks of it. Its sleek, lighweight, small and very attractive.Performance wise its amazing. I get very good connectivity about 200mtrs away too. I tried it in the garage, basement, parking lot and even an apartment 1 block away.Setup was super smooth. I configured it in about 5mins with security. I dint even need to hardwire the router for the setup. Belkin ME1004-R Wireless G Router was all done wirelessly..its a magical world...100% thumbs up for this baby...

I have only used Belkind so far and they have been great. Always a very quick setup, and easy to use settings. Not once have I had a problem with one.
