I'm on my 3rd DOA (Belkin wants to ship a 4th) found out the drivers for XP SP3 DO NOT EXIST AND THERE IS NO INFO ON WHEN THEY WILL. Only V5 works with Visat and I've been sent V3 and V4.

I ordered Belkin F5D7050 USB Wireless Adapter item for my Vista PC. The product arrived as promised, but it turns out that only Version 5 of Belkin F5D7050 USB Wireless Adapter device works with Vista...I got version 4. Belkin Website said V4 could be upgraded...wrong!..download did not have driver and 30 minutes on the phone with Belkin confirmed error on their website! Called Tigerdirect...they could not guarantee that an exchange would yield a V5 device...so they paid for return shipping and refund. 5 Stars for service, 0 stars for Website info, negative 5 stars for Belkin!

I GOT THIS 1WEEK AGO.I JUST FOUND OUT WHAT THE 'G' MEANS ON THIS PRODUCT .TURNS OUT THAT 'N' IS BETTER ,BUT I GOT PRODUCT VERSION 5000FOR VISTA .WORKS GREAT I GOT VERY STRONG SIGNAL MY ROUTER IS LIKE 30 FEET AWAY ,I DID INTERNET TEST NORMALLY I GET 20MBP BUT WITH THIS I ONLY GET 1.5MBP YOU SEE THE DIFERENCE, I DO RECOMEND THIS IF YOUR HOUSE IS NOT TO BIG.

Only connected 10% of the time, always showed an horridly weak signal one room over. Finally after 3 weeks without use, it died completely.

I don't know why some people are having such trouble with this product, unless they don't know how to install something. I have three of these that I am using. One of them is accessing a D-Link router, one accessing a Linksys router and the third is accessing a Belkin router. All are working without any problems and all receive good signals. I need a couple more and am thinking about getting the Belkin. The price is great.
