Used it at work and home and T-Mobile MDA's 802.11b will not connect to the wireless router. Belkin could not resolve the issue so I purchased the TrendNet WirelessN and all works great.

I've bought Belkin 300Mbps Wireless Router router to replace my SWEEX wireless router. When you leave the Belkin N1 unsecured, it's all great, but from the moment you dare to secure it with WAP, Make sure to make some coffee...Belkin 300Mbps Wireless Router was very slow, and unthinkably hard to configure.3/4th of the times, the laptop will NOT connect to the wireless. The range i get in an open field is about 65ft, and average speed is arround 300Kbps, which isn't near to the advertised data!Sometimes it tends to ''drop'' services (eg. web-based administration, or the network printer), Which can only be resolved by ''rebooting'' it.The wired connection however, works like a charm!I really like the front LED Panel showing you what part is active.

Not a bad router, Just a run of bad luck, Tech support was not able to resolve connectivity issue. Out of site and out of mind meant taking Belkin 300Mbps Wireless Router device and disposing it in the dumpster.

I was nervous about moving my computer to the basement and hooking up a wireless network for the first time. After reading the TigerDirect reviews, I decided this Belkin set up was what I needed and so far I am very pleased with this decision. The set up took a matter of minutes, and I am not an computer savvy as most of you. The reception is incredible and I am getting full download speed. A note to keep in mind is that your wireless speed is as good as your origin speed at best. Don't expect 300 Mbps if your LAN line only brings you 100. Security is great. I highly recommend this for home PC users.

Constantly disconnects the wireless on any laptop in my house. In the Network and Sharing Center (Vista) it says connected but the Internet Icon (planet earth at the top right corner) stays gray and does not turn blue, as it should when you are actually connected to the internet. I have to press disconnect, then press connect and wait a couple of minutes so it actually connects to the network, and sometimes I have to do that twice as it does not do it the first time. Also I have a T-Mobile g1 phone with wi-fi and it does not find my wireless network, only my neighbors. This Belkin router does not support helping software like the Liksys routers which install their own linksys program on any PC/laptop in the house for better performance. It is fast once connected, and the range is great, but the fact that everytime when I start my laptop I have to go to Network and Sharing center and reconnect really bothers me. Too expensive. Buy a Linksys - still the best (any model).
