I'm not sure what Trelor's problem is, but I'm inclined to say the problem was on his end or he had a faulty card: I installed with Vista Home Premium, updated all the drivers for Vista within 2 minutes, and had figured out how to use it with Windows Media Center in all of an hour. The analog picture quality looks lousy up close with full screen, but I have a 20.1'' monitor and more importantly it looks JUST as bad on my TV that close. Sitting back 5-9 feet using the remote (or simply shrinking the window when I come closer) it looks as good as (or better than) any TV. I've got poor reception in my area, but the digital channel I snagged with the antenna looked very good. Sadly, even with a 3Ghz Core 2 and 2GB of fast RAM, I think my very dumpy 64MB video card is keeping everything (esp digital) from running 100% smooth - hit and miss. Record feature works as promised, remote is one of the coolest I've ever owned, well laid out and lit. Awesome card all around, worth the cost by far.

I have used Avermedia cards since Vista was in beta with no problems. In fact I have both this card and a Avermedia UltraTV 1500 installed in my PC.Watching TV on my 20'' LCD monitor, it looks clear and sharper than my kid's TV in the living room.

This is by far the worst card, I cannot get it working with vista, I have trouble shooted both with the creators of the card and microsoft themselfs via their forums. My over all opinion of this card is the vista support sucks and the card runs at about 80degress C
