AVerMedia TVBox 9 is the greatest! I'm buying my second one today. Why buy a tv, when you can buy AVerMedia TVBox 9 and a monitor. Also,this is the only device I have found that doesn't require your computer to be on while you're using it.

I replaced my DVDo Pro with the TVBox 9 and am very pleased. The quality of the picture is incredible. I have it connected to my BARCO 808s projector and view the picture on an 8' wide screen. I also have an HDTV tuner connected independantly to the same projector and the picture with the TVBox 9 tuner is almost as good as HDTV. The big improvement is on my DVDs...Compared to the DVD0 doubler...this product is wonderful. I will sell my old line doubler on ebay and probably be about $100.00 ahead! By the way, You guys were very quick to ship the product! The verasatile tuner with the 3:2 pull-down, Progressive Scan 3D Motion Adaptive De-Interlacing is hard to beat in a product in this price range. The product is easy to use and connect. If only it had an HDTV TUNER built in and a few more inputs, and perhaps outputs for a surround sound receiver...it would be perfect. I was able to get around the above mentioned wish list by using a break-out audio cable to my surround sound system.

This is an amazing product. I have bought 2 of them. The quality of the image is fantastic and even the build quality is good. My only complaints are that it is a little tippy at the top and it does get hot after prolonged use.

I have had this device for a couple of months now. It is connected to a 19'' CRT, cable TV, an Xbox, and a DVD player. It works fine. I have problem with the color adjustment. Overall, color quality is not that good. I used to use the same monitor with a video capture board with very nice color definition. I also do not like the packaging design. There are cables connected to the back and front of the device which does not look nice.

I am living in a dorm, and I have limited space and budget to enjoy TV there. Based on my friends' recommandation, I bought the AVerMedia TVBox9 TV Turner, instead of a television, to watch TV programs.Because of the TVBox9, I am amazed by my LCD monitor (ViewSonic 19'') and the multitasking capability of my desktop computer pretty much. Moreover, its powerful functions on displaying TV images and PIP model, and user-friendly design also enable me to fully enjoy the multimedia entertainment on my computer.
