Avermedia MTVHDVOLR is by far the best hd tv adapter I have used. It's easily installed and works perfect with Vista. I've been using media center and have not used the AverMedia software but if it works as good as the device I'm sure they have a winner. Avermedia MTVHDVOLR is worth twice the price. I live in the Phoenix Metro area and get 16 channels of perfect reception. I'm using a Centrino Duo 2Ghz /2Gigs Ram and Vista Premium.

Not worth the $79.99 I paid for it. The antenna that was included with this unit is a joke - it picked up one HD station that that was so distorted/broken up Avermedia MTVHDVOLR was unwatchable. I decided to purchase an amplified antenna in hopes to gain a substantial number of channels - it got me two more.

Works great... if you're in a good area that is. My house can't get crap however if you move 200 feet in any direction you can at least get FOX11. FWI you're gunna want to use the antenna that it comes with. The Software that is comes with is absolute KRAP!!!The CD is now in pieces due to 3 hours of pure frustration. Thankfully my Doctor was good enough to remove every piece of it from my forehead. The stitches still aren't ready to come out yet. :(I keep telling myself 3 more days...3 more days.

installed and worked on my windows Vista machine.. but only got stronger digital signals.contacted Tech support and they had me download ''better'' beta drivers still only got 1/3 rd of the channels I get with the ATI USB ATCS cardreturned unit.

Although this item is sold on the Canadian site, I was lead to believe it would be ideal for me. Sadly, because there is no frequency set in Canada, the item does not work! Not in Canada!!
