ATI FireGL V8650 2GB PCIe card was produced to be used in 2D/3D creation programs and happens to be one of the best in its class. ATI FireGL V8650 2GB PCIe, of course is not a gaming card nor was it meant to be. Please do not listen to ann, she compared this card against a ''4870'' which is based on the R770 gpu; this card is based on the R600 gpu (completely different).

like the 4870's, the card runs hot and is noisy. Needed to adjust voltages and more expensive power supply to get it stable
